Updating Operavix
Each update of the Operavix software contains a specific set of system functionality changes planned for implementation. These changes are described in the Change list document which provided along with the update.
The name of the version includes a prefix indicating the OS family for which the update is intended: w for Windows, d for Linux (Docker). Additionally, the version name includes the year, the ordinal number of the version within the year, and the build number. For example, a version named w221201 is an update of the system on Windows, the 12th release in 2022, the first build of the current version.
Updating the Operavix software must be done sequentially by releases. For example, if you need to update the system from version w2211xx to version w2301xx, you need to sequentially install updates w2212xx and w2301xx. There is no possibility to perform an direct update from w2211xx to w2301xx. However, the build number within the update does not affect the order of the update. For example, you can update from version w221201 to w230103.
