Configuring Access to Dashboards
In this article
To grant access to a dashboard, open it and click the settings button.
Go to the Access tab, click + Access, and select the required option:
- Read access – users can view dashboards in the workspace
- Write access – users can view, edit, and delete dashboards in the workspace
On the panel, select the users or departments to whom you want to grant access. After selecting the required users or departments, click Save.
Search and filter options are available above the list. Use search to locate users or departments more quickly. The filter helps refine the selected users or departments in the list; remove unwanted entries by clicking the cross icon to the right of the name.
After selecting the required users or departments, click Save.
Note
- You can assign dashboard access via its profile to any user in the list, regardless of whether they are visible to the assigner.
- Write access is automatically assigned when a dashboard is created. Dashboard creation is available only if the workspace includes dashboard creation access.
- You can assign dashboard access to users from their profiles. The selection is made from the list of dashboards, where the assigning user has either view or edit access.
